The new TGL Forum is the easiest way for us to keep in touch. Edie will post TGL news and official notices here. You can also post topics of discussion or reply to other posts.
You can chose to receive messages via e-mail if you like or you can just bookmark the forum home page and check it at your convenience. You can "subscribe" to certain topics and pass on others. There is an option to allow private messages without revealing your e-mail address to everyone.
To set up your user id follow these instructions:
1. Click "join" at the top left under the orange dots.
2. Enter your preferred user id, password and your e-mail address.
3. Return to the forum and click "login" at the top left under the orange dots.
4. Enter your user ID and password. When the page reloads the top left says "Welcome , [user id]" - this shows you are logged in.
5. You can now post new "discussions" and "reply" to discussions.
6. You can also change your "preferences" at the top left under the orange dots. This is where you can change your password, set up a signature for your posts and allow receipt of private messages.
"Subscription" allows you to receive an e-mail when a new message is posted to an area you are subscribed to. For example, to subscribe to the "Blue Team only" section you just:
1. Go to the forum home page. Make sure the top left says "Welcome , [user id]". If your user Id is not listed click "login" on the top right and enter your User Id and password.
2. Click on the "Blue Team only" title.
3. When the page opens click "Subscribe" toward the center of the page. Now whenever a message is posted to the "Blue Team only" section you will receive an e-mail notification.
4. To turn this off just repeat above and click "Unsubscribe" in step 3
