Cardio Fitness

If your goal is cardio-fitness, which benefits the heart and lungs, you need to
perform cardio with the fat burning zone.  The heart rate target zone formula is
220 minus age x 70 to 80%.
 

The two most important times to do your cardio exercise is first thing in the
morning and immediately after resistance (weight-lifting) exercises.  The reason
for this is the body has little or no glycogen left, therefore, the body must burn
fat stores.
 

The following exercises are recommended: 

·  Spinning

·  Aerobics

·  Cardio-machines(Elypticals, Treadmills, Bikes, Climbers)

·  Circuit Classes
